Wanda M. Brown

Wanda M. Brown, 88, of Hastings, NE died on March 25, 2024, at Good Samaritan Village Perkins Pavilion in Hastings. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Apfel Funeral Home is in care of the family.

Wanda Lee M. Offner was born on March 5, 1936, to Joe and Grace (Rose) Offner in Inavale, NE. She married Burdette R. ‘Brownie’ Brown on September 15, 1964, in Hastings. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hastings. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and Veterans of World War I.

She is survived by her son Richard Brown, grandson James Brown, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Burdette.
