Anna, TX

Rose Mary Latham, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, entered eternal rest on October 8, 2025, in Texas. Born on November 20, 1948, in Grand Island, Nebraska, Rose lived a life marked by love, strong will, and creativity.

Rose earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Arizona State University. Rose built a successful career with Motorola in Arizona and Texas. Later, she became Manager of the Fabric Department at Walmart in Grand Island, Nebraska, where her eye for detail and care for people made her a favorite among coworkers and customers alike. She retired in 2009 due to health complications and to enjoy life’s quieter pleasures.

Rose loved gardening, mowing, reading, and crafting of all kinds. She had a special place in her heart for dogs, especially her beloved companion Wicket, who passed away in May 2025. Rose found comfort, laughter, and companionship in her furry friends throughout her life.

Her family was her greatest pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Latham, and her son, Ryan Latham.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: Rory Latham and wife Jennifer of Anna, Texas, and Reggie Latham and wife Kelly Crutcher of Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren Sahara and Phillip Hodnett, Bailey and Kaleb Gifford with Killian, Dalton and Alyssa Latham with Ricky Wayne and Khaleesi, Connor Crutcher, Shannon Latham, Gabrial Latham and SethRyan Latham will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
