Roger W. Rank

Roger Rank, 65, of Hastings, NE and formerly of South Sioux City, NE died on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Hastings, NE. Cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Online condolences may be left at www.apfelfuneralhome.com.

Roger was born to William J. and Eda I. (Baker) Rank on October 24, 1959, at Hastings, NE. He later moved to S. Sioux City, NE. He graduated from High School in S. Sioux City in 1978.

After school he went to work at Metz Baking Co., where he worked for 25 years and retired out of Aara Lee Bakery in 2003. He returned to Hastings in 2015.

He loved fishing and hunting and watching Husker football.

Roger is survived by his sisters: Barb (Dennis) Adler of Hastings, NE, Elaine Warren of Windsor, CA, and Wilma Todd of Hastings, NE; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marian Turner.
