Maxine E. Hird, 97, of Crestview, Florida formerly of Grand Island, died September 12, 2016 at Shoal Creek Rehab Center in Crestview, Florida.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2016 at First Christian Church with Derek Apfel officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. in Ft. McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell, Nebraska. Visitation hours will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, at Apfel Funeral Home, Grand Island. Memorials are suggested to First Christian Church. Apfel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
