Loida Maria Garcia Lima

Hastings resident, Loida Maria Garcia Lima, 72, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013 at her home. Visitation services will be on Saturday, January 12, 2013 from 2 pm to 6 pm and again on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 9 am to 9 pm at Brand-Wilson Funeral Home in Hastings. Burial will be at a later date in Cuba. Memorials are suggested to the family. Loida is survived by her husband; Alberto Varela, sons; Ignacio Varela and Iosvel Varela, daughters; Elia, Paula, Bertha, Dulce and Misladis, brother; Eliseo Garcia Diaz, sister; Laudelina Garcia Lima, 9 granddaughters, 8 grandsons and 13 great-grandchildren. Loida was preceded in death by a daughter; Ester Varela and a son; Manuel Varela.
