Linda L. Sorensen-Zentz

Linda Lou Sorensen-Zentz, 77, of Juniata died on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at her home. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 22, 2026 at North Shore Church in Hastings. Linda Lou Sorensen-Zentz was born in McVille, ND on April 28, 1949, to Ernest and Verlan Eberhardt of Aneta. She graduated from Sharon High School in North Dakota in 1967. She attended Joseph School of Hair Design where she graduated in 1968. 

Linda married Allen Sorensen on April 4, 1969. They owned the bar in Amidon, ND from 1974 until 1978. She started her own beauty shop in Cooperstown called Linda's CUT N CURL. They moved to Aneta in 1986 where she continued to run her beauty shop until 2011. She worked for open door center in Valley City, ND until 2016. 

After losing her husband in 2013 and her daughter, Corrina in 2016, Linda met Calvin Zentz of Juniata, NE. Linda moved down to be with him. Linda and Calvin enjoyed fishing, camping, and going to auctions and watching volleyball. 

She is survived by her husband: Calvin Zentz; Son: Chad (Angie) Sorensen; Step-daughter: Jenifer (Sean) Phinney; Siblings: Miles, Marvin, Arlys, Jadine; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
