Hastings resident, Joyce Jean Hergenrether, 77 died Saturday, February 14, 2009 at Perkins Pavilion, Good Samaritan Society, Hastings-Village. Services will be Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 2 PM at the First United Methodist Church, Hastings, NE with Rev. Dr. Sam Rathod officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, NE. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 17, 2009 from 12 noon to 9 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home and one hour before service time at the church. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Joyce was born May 22, 1931, to Addison A. and Retta (Rainforth) Adams in Hastings, NE. She attended Hastings Public Schools. She married Raymond R. Hergenrether, September 1, 1948. She worked at the McDonald Warehouse for 5 years, Mode-O-Day for 5 years and she was the manager of House Of Fabrics 31 years all in Hastings, NE. She had lived in Hastings all her life. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Hastings, NE. She is survived by her husband Raymond, of Hastings, NE, son Randy of Silt, Colorado, and 1 neice DeeDee Smith of Colorado Springs, CO. A memorial will be established.
