Hastings resident, Jose Manuel Ramirez Jr., 22, died Friday, November 7, 2008 due to a car accident. Services will be Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 2 PM at the Brand-Wilson Chapel, Hastings, NE with the Rev. Elder Barahona officiating. Visitation will be Monday, November 10, 2008 from 9 AM to 9 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE and up till service time Tuesday. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Jose was born December 5, 1985 to Jose M. Sr. and Auria E. (Aguillon) Ramirez, in Merced, CA. He married Roxana Portillo. He has lived in the Hastings area since 1998 coming from Merced, CA. He worked at T and L Irrigation as a foreman and he also worked part-time at Burger King, both in Hastings, NE. He is survived by his wife Roxana, of Hastings, NE, 1 son, Joseph Elijah Ramirez, his parents, Jose M.Ramirez Sr. of Sahuayo, MX, and Auria E. Aguillon of Bellevue, NE. 1 brother, Eric Lee Ramirez of Grand Island, NE, 2 sisters, Angelica Ramirez of Lafayette, LA and Erica Lynn Ramirez of Bellevue, NE. and Grandmother, Maria R. Aguillon. Memorials may be given to the family.
