John A. "Arnie" Holl

John A. “Arnie” Holl, 87, of Shelton died Thursday, December 1, 2022, at the Mount Carmel Home in Kearney.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, December 10th at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Shelton. The Rev. Don Pobanz will officiate. Burial of cremains will be in the St. Paul Cemetery at Lowell, Nebraska.

Arnie was co-owner of Woodman Drilling and Irrigation from 1977 to 2004.

Survivors include his three sisters, Elizabeth Benedict of Littleton, CO; Sharon (Steve) Kile and Sara (Roger) Schneider all of Minden, NE; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death his parents, Albert and Mary (Parks) Holl; wife, Elaine (Creason) Holl; one brother, Allan Holl; two sisters, Marian Johnson and Naomi White; and three brothers-in-law, Nila Benedict, Stan Johnson and Fred White.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Shelton or the Amedisys Foundation.
