Javier Martinez-Martin, 41 of Grand Island, died Friday, January 10, 2014 in a vehicle accident on Interstate 80 in Iowa. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday at St. Mary's Cathedral, 112 S. Cedar Street, Grand Island, NE. Father Jonathan Sorensen will be officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the Grand Island City Cemetery. An overnight vigil for the public will begin at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday at the Iglesia De Dios Ebenezer Church, 2525 West State Street, Grand Island, NE. Apfel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
