Jason Kyle Busch

Jason Kyle Busch, 33, of Gibbon, Nebraska, peacefully departed this world on May 27, 2025, after a courageous battle with brain cancer, surrounded by his beloved family. Funeral services will be 10:30AM Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the Gibbon Baptist Church with Pastor Taylor Shippy officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside cemetery in Gibbon. Visitation will be on Friday, May 30th from 5-7pm at the Gibbon Baptist Church. Apfel Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born on April 3, 1992, in Grand Island, Nebraska, Jason was the treasured son of Mary and Dennis Busch and a cherished brother to Jamie Barnes and Jennifer Weems.

Jason graduated from Ravenna High School, where he displayed the dedicated work ethic and positivity that defined him throughout life.

On June 4, 2016, Jason married Christina Leonard, the love of his life. Together, they built a beautiful family and welcomed two children, Brooke and Brayden, who were the light of Jason’s life. As a devoted father and husband, he cherished every moment with his family, ensuring they always felt loved and supported.

Jason is survived by his wife, Christina Busch; daughter, Brooke; son, Brayden; parents: Mary and Dennis Busch; and sisters: Jamie Barnes and Jennifer Weems.
