James P. Lee

James P. Lee, 60, of Grand Island, NE died on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at CHI Health St. Francis. A committal service with military honors will be at 11AM on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at the Nebraska Veterans Cemetery at Grand Island with Terry Boshart officiating. Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.

James was born on May 22, 1966 in Kittery, Maine to Patrick and Sandra (Henry) Lee. He grew up in Monroe, MI and received his education at Jefferson High School. James went into a career in computer networking before entering the U.S Army on October 30, 1984. He was honorably discharged on October 27, 1988.

He was united in marriage to Lorraine Lassonde on February 12, 2001 in Las Vegas, NV.

James is survived by his son, Christopher (Jennifer) Lassonde; three grandchildren; and sister, Kelly Lee.

He is preceded in death by his wife, siblings: Amy and Cassandra; and his parents.
