James L. Berryman

James Berryman; dreamer, educator, trip-planner, traveler, storyteller, husband, father, stepfather, uncle, and friend, left his earthly home on Friday, May 24, 2019.



Jim is survived by his wife, Marcia; a son, Jim D. (Saiful) of CT; stepsons Ron (Barb) Schummer and sons, Ryan and Alex of IN; and Randy Schummer of FL; brothers-in-law Harvey Johnson, and Phil (Barb) Brazelton of Arlington, NE; nieces Heather Weldon of York, Kendra (James) Washington, Kiffany (Dave) Conner of Kearney, cousin Emma (Ron) Walker of Waverly.



Jim is preceded in death by his parents, his infant son, Shawn, his three siblings Lee Ann Dulitz, EmRay Berryman, and Helen Johnson; brothers-in-law Gene Dulitz and Bruce Brazelton; a nephew-in-law Chad Weldon.



A private family service is to be held. A friendship memorial gathering will be held at a later date.



Memorials are suggested to St. Jude’s Hospital or the NE Federation for the Blind.
