Glenna Jacobitz

Glenna R. Jacobitz, 87, formerly of Campbell, passed away July 4, 2025, at the Edgewood in Hastings, Nebraska. Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Holstein, NE with Rev. Lon Landsmann officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 8 from noon-7p.m. with family present from 5-7p.m. at the Apfel Funeral Home in Hastings, NE. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Holstein. They may be left at the funeral home or at the church.

Glenna was born February 27, 1938, to Albert and Rosa (Meitler) Stuive near Sylvan Grove, KS. She graduated from Sylvan Grove High School in 1956. She married Virgil Jacobitz on August 17,1957 in Sylvan Grove, KS at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

They resided north of Campbell where Glenna was a farm wife and very dedicated to her faith and family. She enjoyed woodworking, gardening, oil painting and quilting. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Holstein.

She is survived by a son, Arlon (JoEllen) Jacobitz of Campbell, NE; three daughters: Janelle (Scott) Null of Independence, KS, Connie (Ken) Kulwicki of Ravenna, NE, Joni (Randy) Noble of Shreveport, LA; twelve grandchildren: Brian (Amy) Jacobitz of Campbell, NE, Brandon (Chelsey) Jacobitz of Holstein, NE, Megan (Mason) Stocker of Hastings, NE. Spencer (Kaylie) Null of Minneapolis, MN, Logan Null of Independence, KS, Chase (Allyson) Null of Topeka, KS, Justin (Karinne) Kulwicki of Cambridge, NE, Ashley (Andy) Manhart of Neola, IA, Sydney (Jake) Patton, Shreveport, LA, Alex (Nick) Delaney of Dallas, TX, Anna Noble of Shreveport, LA, Courtney (Tyler) Bruce of Bella Vista, AR; eighteen great grandchildren; and sister, LuDella Giebel of Midland, MI.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil; parents; brother, Delbert Stuive; and a granddaughter.
