Elsie M Fishel

Elsie Fishel, 90, of Shelton died February 5, 2022, at Kearney Regional Hospital. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Saturday, February 12, 2022, at the Shelton United Methodist Church. Pastor Michelle Byerly will officiate. Burial will follow at the Shelton Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 PM on Friday at Shelton United Methodist Church. Elsie Marie was born on June 24, 1931, in Buffalo County to Chester and Etta (Brown) Oliver. She grew up in the Gibbon and Shelton area and attended school in Buffalo County.

She was a member of the Shelton Legion Axillary. Elsie enjoyed gardening, canning, baking homemade pies, and visiting friends and family.

Survivors include children: Donnie (Marita) Fishel of Shelton, NE, Tiajuana (Kenny Wiezorek) Goc of Kearney, NE; grandchildren: Joy Webb, Amy Fishel, Brandon Fishel, Jeremy (Lindsay) Fishel; great grandchildren: Regan Fishel, Lucas Fishel; and sisters-in-law: Lillian Oliver and Doris Oliver.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Arnold, Benny, Mike, Ralph, Leroy, Elton, and sisters: Dorothy and Lorene.
