Grand Island resident, Elsie Kleiber, 93, died Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at the Beverly Healthcare at Lakeview, Grand Island, NE. Services will be Monday, June 26, 2006 at 2 PM at the Brand-Wilson Chapel, Hastings, NE with the Rev. Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday June 26, 2006 from 8 AM up till service time at the Chapel. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Mrs. Kleiber was born August 9, 1912 to Peter and Anna Marie (Liebsack) Thaut, in Hastings, NE. She married Vern Kleiber, on July 28, 1936 in Hastings, NE, he died, November 1, 1967. She worked at Metz Baking Co. from 1957 retiring in 1977. She was a member of the First St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hastings, NE. She is survived by, 1 daughter, Marlyn Miller of Grand Island, 2 Grandchildren, and 5 Great Grandchildren and 1 brother Samuel Thaut of LaMonte, MO. She was preceded in death by, her husband, Vern, her parents, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, and 1 son Robert. Memorials may be given to First St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
