Dwayne Riese, 79, of Holstein, NE died Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Mary Lanning Healthcare in Hastings. Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 3, 2025, at Saint Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Holstein with Kathy Uldrich officiating.
Dwayne was born on November 14, 1945, in Minden, NE, to LaVern and Lorraine (Whipple) Riese. He graduated from Roseland High School. He worked for Thaut’s Body shop for several years and then trucked for George Bros out of Sutton, NE. Dwayne was an avid hunter and fisher.
He is survived by his sisters: Karen (Larry) Eckhardt of Holstein, NE and Shirley (Ken) Mahlin of Grand Island, NE; and several nieces and nephews.
Dwayne was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dennis.
