Donald J. Boomer Morosic, Sr., 80 of Wood River, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at the Nebraska Veterans Home in Grand Island.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, April 12, 2014 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Wood River with the Rev. James Janovec officiating. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery, Wood River, Nebraska. Visitation hours will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2014, with the rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at St. Marys Catholic Church in Wood River. Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers to St. Marys Catholic Church, Wood River Fire and Rescue, or the American Lung Association. Apfel Funeral Home in Wood River is in charge of arrangements
