Delores C. Wilder

Delores C. Wilder, 91, formerly of Hastings died December 21, 2023, at The Pines of Blue Hill. Funeral Services will be 10 AM on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Apfel Funeral Home in Hastings with Pastor Paul Dunbar officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Valley Cemetery in Ayr, NE.

Delores was born on February 7, 1932, in McCook, NE to Frank and Nettie (Clark) Baker. She grew up in Oxford, NE and received her education at Hastings High School. She was united in marriage to Lyle Wilder on July 30, 1950, in Hastings. She was employed as a clerk by Lincoln Telephone Company and Ideal Truck Line. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Hastings. She also served as president of the VFW Auxiliary and cooked meals for funerals.

She is survived by her son, Mike (Jody) Wilder, daughters-in-law Kim Wilder, Shari Wilder, seven grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle, sons Jay and Rick Wilder, brother Lavern Baker, sisters Wynona Hiatt, Mary Anne Amos, and her parents.
