Christopher "Chris" R. Reents

Hastings resident, Christopher “Chris” R. Reents, 46, passed away Monday, August 5, 2019 at Mary Lanning Memorial Healthcare, Hastings.



A Remembrance of Chris will be at 618 South Minnesota Ave, Hastings, NE , Friday, August 9, 2019 from 5-7PM. Christopher’s wishes were to be cremated. Apfel Funeral Home, Hastings is in care of the family. Condolences may be sent to the family from, www.apfelfuneralhome.com.



A memorial will be given to the family to designate at a later date.



Chris was born on October 29, 1972 to David and Judith (Adams) Reents in Hastings, Nebraska. He graduated from Henderson High School in 1991. Chris was a self-employed Handy man.



He most enjoyed spending time with his son Caden. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, and spending time will friends. He never knew a stranger. Chris will be remembered by his sense of humor.



He is survived by his son; Caden, parents; Dave Reents and Judy (Larry) Harnett, sister; Becky (Jason) Hupf, brother; Adam (Amber) Reents, and nephews and nieces.



Chris is preceded in death by his grandparents.
