Ms. Bonnie Le Molle, of Dalton, Georgia, and formerly of Grand Island, Nebraska, departed this life peacefully Thursday morning, September 17, 2026, at The Gardens Senior Living in Dalton, Georgia.
Bonnie was born March 13, 1929, in Ord, Nebraska, a daughter of the late Albert Lloyd and Marjorie Levina Wentworth Sorensen. She was also preceded in death by her beloved son, Randall Earl “Randy” Gregory, brother, Earl Wentworth Sorensen, step-daughter, Mary Molle and former husbands, Calvin Gregory and Robert Molle.
Bonnie was a 1947 graduate of Grand Island High School in Grand Island, Nebraska. She was also a member of Rock Bridge Community Church.
Those who knew Bonnie will remember her as a truly sweet and caring lady who had a gentle spirit and a wonderful sense of humor. She had a way of bringing smiles and laughter to those around her, and her humor was one of the many things that made her so special. She never lost her ability to find something to smile about, and her warm personality made people feel comfortable and loved in her presence.
Above all else, Bonnie loved her family. Her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and all those she held dear were a tremendous source of joy and pride throughout her life. She cherished the time she was able to spend with her family and leaves behind a lifetime of memories filled with love, laughter, kindness, and the sweet spirit that was uniquely hers. Her family will forever remember her for the love she gave so freely, her gentle heart, and the laughter she brought into their lives.
Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Chris and Dr. Joel Williams of Rocky Face, Georgia; Kathryn K. and Gale Mares of Schuyler, Nebraska; Patricia M. Meyer of York, Nebraska; Margaret Ann and Ron Steuben of Gothenburg, Nebraska; and Cynthia Le Gregory of Chicago, Illinois; step-children, Pamela and Don Hervert of Ravenna, NE, Sharolyn Molle of Kansas City, MO; fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Bonnie’s life was a beautiful testament to the importance of family, kindness, and a good sense of humor. Though she will be deeply missed, her family can find comfort in knowing that the love, laughter, and memories she shared with them will remain in their hearts for generations to come.
Services to celebrate the life of Ms. Bonnie Le Molle will be held Sunday, September 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Ponders Melrose Chapel. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel after 12:00 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2026, until the service hour.
Additional services for Bonnie and her son Randy Gregory will be held Friday, September 25, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island, Nebraska. Family will receive friends Friday morning after 9:30 a.m. until the service hour. Interment services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2026, at the Ord Cemetery in Ord, Nebraska, with her grandsons and great-grandsons honored to serve as pallbearers.
