Ashley Veronica Perez

Ashley Veronica Perez, age 11 of Hastings, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha after a long illness.



Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 4th at St. Cecelias Catholic Church with Fr. Julius Tvrdy as celebrant. Cremation will follow the services with burial at a later date.



Visitation will be held at the Apfel Funeral Home from 6:00 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Apfel Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent at apfelfuneralhome.com. Memorials may be directed to the family in memory of Ashley.



Ashely was born May 7, 2003 in Van Eys, California, the daughter of Miguel and Claudia Veronica (Mendoza) Perez. Ashley loved to play with her Barbie dolls and to play with her dog Snoopy and spend time with her family members. She especially loved to go fishing with her big brother and to go out to eat with him to Taco Bell.



Survivors include her parents, Miguel and Claudia Perez and her brother Anthony Perez of Hastings.
