Services will be Monday, June 9, 2008 at 11 AM at the Alberding-Wilson Funeral Home, Harvard, NE with the Rev. Dale Coates officiating. Burial will be in the Harvard Cemetery, Harvard, NE with military rites. Visitation will be Sunday, June 8, 2008 from 12 noon to 9 PM at the Alberding-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Art was born February 12, 1924 to Herman R. and Katherine Perl in Harvard, NE. He served in the Army during WWII as a tank operator in Germany. He worked for S. E Smith Lumber in Harvard, NE and then as a handyman, he mowed yards, did painting, and carpentry. He is served by 1 sister, Dorothy Hoza of Canon City, CO, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Richard, Oscar and Albert. A memorial will be established.
