Albert Beaver

Albert D. Beaver, 74, of Aurora, NE died on Monday, October 19, 2026 surrounded by his family at home. A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 3 PM Sunday, November 1, 2026 at Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.

He was born on November 21, 1951 in Phoenix, Arizona to John Legg and June Burky. He grew up in Phoenix. On April 25, 1997 he was united in marriage to Mary Wit in Glendale, Arizona. After which the couple lived in Aurora, NE. He had also lived in Phoenix, AZ and Grand Island, NE where he worked for T&T Tearoff and Monfort meat packing plant.

He enjoyed building hot rods, riding and working on Harley Davidson motorcycles, building and flying RC airplanes, a true Jack-of-all-Trades. He was one heck of a guy and a great father.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary Beaver of Aurora; daughters, Angela Johnson and Melissa Williams; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, John and Webster Legg.
