Hastings resident, Shirley Ann Adams, 78, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, NE. Graveside service will be, Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 11:30 AM the Rosedale Cemetery, NE. There will be no viewing her body was cremated. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. A celebration of her life will be Saturday from 10 to 11 AM at Gary and Laurie Lueck home, 4030 West Rosedale Rd. Doniphan, NE. Shirley was born September 7, 1929 to Reuben and Vera (Lakin) Adams in Hastings, NE. She attended Rosedale grade school and graduated from Hastings High School in 1947. She moved to Hastings in 1967. She worked for the Lincoln Telephone and Telegraph, the Omaha Stockyards National Bank and then was an Accounts Payable Clerk for Dutton Lainson in Hastings, NE. After retirement she babysat. She was an avid reader and music lover. She was a member of the Catholic faith. She is survived by 1 daughter Laurey Judy Greene of Kansas City, KS, and 1 sister Rosalie Sedlacek , her godmother Patricia Kavaliauskas of Omaha, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorials may be given to the Mary Lanning Hospice, the Rosedale Cemetery or donors choice.
