Sengmany Inthaluxay

Sengmany Inthaluxay, 75, of Grand Island, NE died Monday, May 18, 2020 at CHI St. Elizabeth in Lincoln, NE. Funeral services will be May 23, 2020 at 1 PM at Apfel Funeral Home.

She was born on May 13, 1945 at Mahaxay Khammuane, Laos to Tha and Khaima Tanthapengxay. She grew up in Mahaxay. She was united in marriage to Phengma Inthaluxay on June 1, 1966 at Khammuane, Laos. After which the couple lived in Nong Bok, Laos. The couple moved to Grand Island, NE where she was employed by Monfort.

She was a member of the Wat Lao Buddha Metta of Grand Island, NE.

She is survived by her husband, Phengma; sons, Bo and Coby Inthaluxay; daughter, Phatsada Volavongsa; four grandchildren; brothers, Sinong Tanthaphengxay and Bounkhoun Tanthaphengxay; and sister, Keo Tanthaphengxay.

She was preceded in death by her brothers: Bourkham, Sisavath and Keobounkham, and her sister, Thankeo.
