Hastings resident, Sallie J. Myers, 54, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010 at her home. Services will be Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 10 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints in Hastings, NE with the Bishop Brian Woodbury officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, NE. Visitation will be Friday, June 18, 2010 from 9 AM to 9 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE and one hour prior to service time at the church. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Sallie was born April 16, 1956 to Isadore Pete Henry and Betty Jane (Svendgard) Stoetzel in York, NE. She graduated from the Hastings High School in Hastings, NE in 1975. She married Rodney Dale Breckner in 1975, they had one son, Brent, they later divorced. She married Mark Myers on January 11, 1992. She was self-employed at Lundeen Sprinklers. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints in Hastings, NE. She is survived by her husband Mark of Hastings, NE, her son Brent Breckner and wife Mindy of Doniphan, NE and 3 grandchildren, Alyssa 5, Tycen 3 and Carsyn 3 months, her parents, Pete and Betty Stoetzel of Hastings, NE, 6 sisters, Susan Bartels and husband Chris of Alliance, NE, Sherry Detamore and husband Frank of Giltner, NE, Sheila Damon and husband Loren of Madison, AL, Stephanie Hahn and husband Gary of Fort Collins, CO, Sandra Niemeyer of Palmetto, FL, and Sharlene Stoetzel of Lincoln, NE, 1 brother, Scott Stoetzel and wife Linda of Hastings, NE, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and a nephew, Tyler Stoetzel. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established.
