Ronald Lavern Haubold

Former Hastings resident, Ronald LaVern Haubold, 70, passed away, Wednesday, January 6, 2019 at Paradise Valley Hospital, in National City, CA.



Memorial service will be Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 10:30 am at Peace Lutheran Church. Private family burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Hastings, NE with military rites by the Hastings Veterans Association. Apfel Funeral Home, Hastings is in care of the family. Ronald was born December 14, 1948 to LaVern Fredrick and Ruth Anne (Crane) Haubold in Hastings. He graduated from Hastings High in 1967. He attended one year at UNL then one year at UNK, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in science. Ronald served in the United States Army. He was self-employed in real estate investments.



He is survived by one sister Vickie Haubold of Hastings, four cousins, Mary Ann (Rick) Ressel and Ann Smekrud and family, Don (Maureen) Crane and family and Kathy Crane and family.



He was preceded in death by his parents.
