At Our Alberding-Wilson Location, Harvard, NE. Harvard resident, Robert Bob Kenneth Wiles, 75 died, Sunday, June 22, 2008 at the Harvard House Assisted Living, Harvard, NE. Services will be Friday, June 27, 2008 at 10:30 AM at the Harvard United Church of Christ with Rev. Stanley Crawford officiating. Burial will be in the Harvard Cemetery, Harvard, NE with military rites. Visitation will be 9 AM to 9 PM Thursday, June 26, 2008 with the family present from 7 PM to 9 PM at the Alberding-Wilson Funeral Home, Harvard, NE. Condolences may be sent ot the family from www.brandwilson.com. Robert was born, October 19, 1932 to Orville and Wilma (Seifert) Wiles in Ellery, Illinois. He married Pauline Ostrander, August 5, 1954, Pauline passed away in February 6, 1970. Robert married Detta Moritz on July 10, 1971, Detta passed away May 31, 2004. He served in the US Air Force, from 1952 to 1956. He worked for KN Energy of 30 years. He was a member of Harvard United Church of Christ, former member of the Harvard City Council and a member of the Eagles Club, in Hastings, NE. Robert enjoyed having family around, playing cards, telling good stories and emailing friends and family. He is survived by, three daughters, Gail Rath and husband Jack of Aurora, Dixie Smith and husband Scot of Hastings and Roberta Conway and husband Chuck of Harvard, four sons, Cliff Wiles and wife Kathy of Cedar Rapids, Ia, Rodney Wiles and wife Linda Marcy of Lincoln, Patrick Stull and wife Trisia of Lincoln, Randy Wiles and wife Theresa of Richmond, Ky, one sister, Shirley Tullis of Fairfield, Il, one brother, Gene Wiles of Dell City, Ok, and 26 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Wilma and Orville, one son, Tony, two sisters, Helen and Sue, and one brother Carroll. Memorials may be given to Harvard House Memorial to help fund an automatic door.
