Richard "Dick" Wayne Whitefoot

Richard "Dick" Whitefoot, 93 of Grand Island passed away Sunday January 29, 2017 at the Nebraska Veterans Home in Grand Island. Funeral services will be Thursday February 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island. Interment with military honors will be at Westlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from noon until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the family or to Trinity United Methodist Church.



Richard Wayne Whitefoot was born August 16, 1923 to Edward and Florence (Crowe) Whitefoot at Cairo, NE. He was united in marriage to Darlene Bremer on June 9, 1949 at Boelus, NE. She passed away August 30, 2016. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.



Survivors include his identical twin brother, Donald Dean Whitefoot and his wife Venus; his sister, Dorothey Hefner; as well as numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
