Roseland resident, Ralph C. Trausch, 85, died Thursday, November 15, 2007 at Perkins Pavilion, GSV Hastings, NE. Rosary will be, Monday, November 19, 2007, at 7:30 PM at the Scared Heart Catholic Church, Roseland, NE. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 10:30 AM at the Scared Heart Catholic Church in Roseland, NE with Father Thomas Au, celebrant with Con-Celebrants, Father Dan, Mark, and Leo Seiker. Visitation will be Sunday, November 18, 12 noon to 9 PM and Monday, November 19, 2007 from 8 AM to 5 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home and 1 hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will be in the Roseland Cemetery, Roseland, NE with military rites. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Ralph was born, August 16, 1922, to John H. and Susan (Berres) Trausch in Roseland, NE. He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII as a mechanic. He was self employed with his brother Lewis as Trausch Brothers Land Leveling. He also farmed and did mechanic work. He was a member of the Scared Heart Catholic Church in Roseland, NE. He is survived by, 1 sister, Theresa Seiker and husband Vincent of Lincoln, NE, 2 brothers, Maurice Trausch and wife Wilma of Roseland, NE, and Gerald Trausch and wife Mary Ellen of Spring Hills, Kansas, 1 sister in law Lorene Trausch of Roseland, NE. and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by, 2 sisters, Irene Matyka and Margaret Kresha, 7 brothers, Father Anthony, Albert, Wilfred, Raymond, Father Robert , Lewis and Francis. Memorials may be given to the Roseland Scared Heart Church or the family.
