At Our Jackson-Wilson Funeral Home location, Kenesaw, NE. Kenesaw resident, Pauline Dornhoff Schneider, 89, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Elkhorn, NE. Services will be Monday, November 15, 2010 at the United Methodist Church, in Kenesaw, Ne at 10 a.m with the Pastor Stuart Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Kenesaw Cemetery, Kenesaw, NE. Visitation will be Sunday, November 14, 2010 at the Jackson-Wilson Funeral Home, Kenesaw, NE from 12 noon to 9 PM with the family present from 4 PM to 6 PM Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Kenesaw Cemetery Foundation, in Kenesaw, NE or the charity of your choice. *** Pauline was born on October 2, 1921 to Henry and Pansy (Burchell) Dornhoff, on the family farm in Heartwell, NE. She graduated from the Heartwell High School in 1940. She married Erwin Schneider on September 14, 1941. Pauline and her husband farmed around the Heartwell and Kenesaw area and moved to Kenesaw, NE in 1970. She was a member of the Kenesaw Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary and the Kenesaw Senior Citizens Center. She delivered Meals on Wheels in Kenesaw for many years. Her greatest pleasures were family, playing cards, knitting, ceramics, Nebraska volleyball and gardening. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Those left to honor her memory include her daughters and sons-in-laws, Sharon and Joel Larmore of Elkhorn, Trish Schneider and Tom Brown of Elkhorn, Sherry and Mike Wieseler of Denver; seven grandchildren Amy and Rob Daniels of Chicago, Emily and Josh Cooper of Seattle, Jamie and Cory Van Blarcom of Elkhorn, Doug and Liz Larmore of Omaha, Nick Kelley of Elkhorn, Jeremiah Wieseler of Fort Drum, New York and Rae Ann Wieseler of Denver; seven great-grandchildren Taylor, Emma and Carter Daniels, Ben and Elliott Cooper, and Ashleigh and Abby Van Blarcom. She is also survived by her brother, Kenny Dornhoff, sister, Bonnie Griesen and sister-in-law, Joyce Dornhoff, all of Minden; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Erwin, her parents and brothers, Dale and Herb.
