Pauline Caroline Tauer

Pauline Caroline (Haase) Tauer, 94 Born in Garland, NE on June 30, 1921. She went to be with the Lord on June 3, 2016 at Millard Good Samaritan Society in Omaha.



Services will be at 10:00am Saturday, June 11th at Faith Lutheran Church, Hastings with Pastor Paul Dunbar officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Visitation will be Friday, June 10th from 5 pm to 7 pm at Apfel Funeral Home Chapel, Hastings. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.apfelfuneralhome.com. Apfel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.



Memorials may be given to the family to be donated to Faith Lutheran Church or Millard Good Samaritan Society.



She is survived by her five children, Linda (Greg) Jensen of Kearney, Gayle Guilfoyle of Omaha, Matthew Tauer Jr. of Scottsdale, AZ, Brenda (Neal) Peterson of Phoenix, AZ, and Renee (Keith) Mentzer of Kailua Kona, HI; twelve grandchildren, Amy (Andrew) Rongisch, Sean (Renee) Guilfoyle, Kelly (Scott) Anderson, Mick Guilfoyle, Ross Peterson, Grant Peterson, Haley Peterson, Cole Peterson, Jeff Campbell, Joshua Mentzer, Joslynn Mentzer and Jennelle Mentzer; eight great-grandchildren, Lauren, Ava, Brennan, Kaeli, Rylan, Hadley, Gage and Tessa.



She was preceded in death by her husband Matthew Anthony Tauer Sr., her parents Adolph and Ida Marie Haase, seven brothers and five sisters, and grandson Ryan Guilfoyle.
