Kenesaw resident, Loren Hank Aufdenkamp, 82, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Kenesaw Haven Home, Kenesaw, NE. Services will be Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, in Kenesaw, NE with Rev. Paul Duffy officiating. Private family burial at the Kenesaw Cemetery, Kenesaw, NE with military rites. Book signing will be Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 9 AM to 8 PM at the Jackson-Wilson Funeral Home, Kenesaw, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Hank was born December 29, 1928 to Henry E. and Rosina (Steiner) Aufdenkamp in Heartwell, NE. He graduated from the Kenesaw High School in 1946. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict from 1951 to 1953. He married Leva Boroff on August 29, 1953 she passed away in 1982. He was a farmer and also worked for New Holland in Grand Island, NE for several years. Hank loved sports, cooking and spending time with his family. He was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Kenesaw, NE and the Kenesaw American Legion. He is survived by one daughter, Lorna Pritchard and husband Mike of Kenesaw, Ne, two sons, Kevin and wife Darla of Ogallala, NE, and Brent and wife Brenda of North Platte, NE, grandchildren, Hailey Morrow and husband Byron, Logan Pritchard and wife Lindsey, Walker Aufdenkamp and Elaine Ostergard, Henry, Eleanor and Charles Aufdenkamp, and Corey, Cobe and Casey Hinton, great grandchildren, Jacob, Paige and Payton Morrow, Jackson Pritchard, and Diesel Aufdenkamp and one sister ArVera Schueler of Clay Center, NE and brother and sister in -laws, Jim and Darlene Boroff, Kay Rieken, Carole Vejvoda, Kaffie and Tom Albers, Karan Scott and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Leva, two infant sons, one sister Lois Kistler, brother-in-laws, Jack Kislter, Karl Schueler, Jack Boroff, and John Scott. Memorials may be given to the family.
