July 16, 1951 — March 10, 2008

Hastings resident, Leonard Paul Robinson Sr. 56, died, Monday, March 10, 2008 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, NE. Memorial service will be Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 2 PM at the Brand-Wilson Chapel, Hastings, NE. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, NE. Book signing will be Friday, March 14, 2008 from 9 AM to 9 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home and Cremation. Condolences may be sent to the family www.brandwilson.com. Leonard was born July 16th 1951 to Allen and Eileen Robinson of Hastings. He graduated from Hastings high school in 1969. He worked as a carpenter, construction worker, and handyman throughout his life. He was self employed. He and his brothers ran Robinson Brothers Construction Co. and then he worked for Hatra Construction, Reents Construction, and A One Concrete. He was married to Alice Lamborn of Hastings for 23 years and had three children. He was a skilled craftsman who enjoyed building wood furniture and wooden lawn ornaments. He found joy in his children and grandchildren. When he was not fixing this or that fore someone he was probably sitting on the porch with Pat or working in his shop. He liked fishing, BBQ, and hanging out with his duck. A tender heart and a golden soul, he was extremely giving and generous with his time and skills. A loving father, grandpa, son, brother, and friend he will be genuinely missed and loved. He is survived by Patricia Lundell and his three children, Vally Jo Robinson McDonald and husband Rod Sr of Clay Center, Tabitha Franklin and her husband matt o Lincoln and Leonard Jr of Hastings. His mother Eileen Robinson of Hastings 1 brother Scott Robinson and his wife dawn, three sisters Susan Rinker, Linda Robinson, Anne Anderson and husband Barry of Colorado, 6 grandchildren, 12 nieces and nephews and 13 great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father and 2 brothers Steven and David. Memorials may be given to the family.
