Katharine Einspahr

Hastings resident, Katharine Einspahr, 99, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Perkins Pavilion, Good Samaritan Society, Hastings-Village. Graveside service will be Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at 10:30 am at Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, NE with Pastor Marcus Mackay officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at from 2 pm to 8 pm at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Katharine was born September 28, 1912 to Dirch and Katharine (Albers) Cornelius in rural Adams County. She graduated from the Juniata High School. She worked at the Aurora National Bank in Aurora, IL returning to the Hastings area in 1972. She had married three times, she married Graydon G. White in 1979 he passed away in 1986, Emil F. Kucera in 1988 he passed away in 1997, and Donald E. Einspahr in 2008 he passed away in 2012. She was a member of the RSVP, AARP, the Pink Ladies and the Ladies Axillary of WWI and she delivered Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed gardening and crafts and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. She enjoyed going to wrestling meets and watching wrestling on tv. She is survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, three brothers and six sisters.
