Hastings resident, Joyce H. Miller, 89, died Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at The Homestead. Services will be Saturday, October 27, 2007, at 10:30 at the Brand-Wilson Chapel, Hastings, NE. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, NE. Visitation will be Friday, October 26, 2007, from 12 noon, to 9 PM with family present from 6 PM to 8 PM, at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE, and prior to service time at the chapel. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Joyce was born, September 28, 1918 to Abram and Laura (Good) Howe, in Norristown, PA. She graduated from Norristown High School. She married Stanley A. Miller, June 1942. She worked as the Pennsylvania Public School Cafeteria Manager and retired in 1980. She is survived by, 3 daughters, Carol Loetterle of Hastings, NE, Lorna McGrath of Doylestown, PA, and Jeannette McIntyre of Austin, Texas. 3 sons, Roger Miller of Los Angeles, CA, Alan Miller of Seoul, Korea and David Miller of Gastonia, NC, 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. 1 sister, Margaret Lingle of Lancaster, PA. She was preceded in death by, her husband, Stanley, 6 sisters, and 3 brothers. Memorials may be given to the Homestead of Hastings, NE.
