Jolene (Brouillette) Duddeck

Hastings resident, Jolene (Brouillette) Duddeck , 71, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Perkins Pavilion, Good Samaritan Society, Hastings-Village. Memorial Mass service will be Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 10:30 AM at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Hastings, NE with Father Andrew Heaslip officiating. A private family burial in Parkview Cemetery will be at a later date. There will be no viewing. Book signing will be Wednesday, June 2, 2010 from 9 AM to 9 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE and one hour prior to service time at the church. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com . Jolene was born June 4, 1938 to Hector and Laura (Choquette) Brouillette in Bladen, NE. She had lived in the Hastings area since 1943. She worked in the kitchen at the Knights of Columbus in Hastings, NE for many years. She was a lifetime member of the St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Hastings, NE., and was also a member of the Eagles Auxiliary, in Hastings, NE. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Baranishyn and husband John of Bellevue, NE, 3 grandchildren, Brian Nuzum and wife Jessica of Bellevue, NE, James Nuzum of Denver, CO and Kathryn Nuzum, of Bellevue, NE and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son John, and 8 brothers. Memorials may be given to the Heartland Pet Connection in Hastings, NE. or Aseracare Hospice in Grand Island, NE.
