Hastings resident, Genevive Genny Royster, 76, died Thursday, May 22, 2008 at her home. Services will be Saturday, May 31, 2008, at 11 AM, at the Brand-Wilson Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Judith Allen officiating. Burial will be Monday, June 2, 2008 at 4 PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Hastings, NE. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 28, 2008 from 8 AM to 5 PM and Thursday May 29, 2008 from 8 AM to 5 PM and Friday, May 30, 2008 from 8 AM to 9 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home and Cremation, Hastings, NE and up till service time Saturday in the chapel. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Genny was born July 13, 1931 to Asa and Maggie (Judy) White in Edgar, NE. She married Bennie G. Royster, October 22, 1951; he passed away July 17, 1999. She had lived in the Hastings area since 1951. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Hastings, NE. She is survived by 4 daughters, Debra Duty of Beaver Crossing, NE, Barbara Royster, of Hastings, Ne, Kathleen Aulner of Norfolk, NE, and Christine Royster of Lakewood, CO. 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bennie, 4 sisters and 3 brothers Memorials may be given to the family.
