June 27, 1931 — January 9, 2008

Juniata resident, Billy "Gene" Timm, 76 of 1107 N. Platte Ave, died Wednesday, January 9, 2007, at the Kenesaw Haven Home, Kenesaw, NE. Services will be Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 2 PM at the Juniata Community Church with the Pastor Tom Murray and Pastor Herb Scott officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Book signing will be Thursday, January 10, 2008 and Friday, January 11, 2008 from 9 AM to 5 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Hastings, NE and one hour prior to service time at the church. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Gene was born June 27, 1931 to Bill and Ethel (Keedle) Timm in Holstein, NE. He attended schools in both Holstein and Hastings, NE. He grew up in Adams County and lived in Hastings most of his life. He moved to Juniata in 1990. He served in the Army during the Korean War from February 5, 1952 to February 4, 1954. He married Shirley Klawitter on December 26, 1954. He was a mechanic and retired from Pavelka Trucking. He was the assistant director of the Good Sam Camping Club. He is survived by his wife Shirley, of Juniata, NE, daughter Joann Adler and husband Ron of Fort Worth, TX, 2 granddaughters, Halley of Fort Worth, TX and Abby Williamson and husband Robert, 2 Great grandchildren, Alyie and Noah, all Hemingford, NE. 3 sisters, Harriet Jorgenson of Minden, NE, Marilyn Henry of Juniata, NE and Shirley Fergus, of Mesa, Arizona, 1 brother Wayne of Hastings, NE. 1 half brother Dale Schmidt of Chandler, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 brother Vern. A memorial will be established at a later date.
