Gale E. Torske

January 1, 1933 — October 18, 2015

Kenesaw resident, Gale E. Torske, 82, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Premier Estates of Kenesaw. A memorial service will be Wednesday October 21, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Kenesaw, NE with Reverend Paul Duffy officiating. Burial will be at a later. There will be no visitation or book signing at Gales request his body was donated to science.



Memorials are suggested to The Kenesaw St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Mary Lanning Hospice or The Cancer Society.



Gale was born January 1, 1933 in Heartwell, NE to Ever and Marie (Woods) Torske. He grew up in the Heartwell and Kenesaw area. He graduated from Kenesaw High School in 1950. He served in the United States Army from 1953- 1956 during the Korean Conflict. He was united in marriage to Deloris Jacobitz on October 6, 1955 in Denver, CO. After which the couple lived near Kenesaw, NE where he was employed by The United Postal Services as a Rural Mail Carrier in the Kenesaw area. He retired in 1990 after thirty years of service.



Gale was a member of the American Legion of Kenesaw, the mail carriers association, and St. Pauls Lutheran Church of Kenesaw.



He is survived by his wife Deloris Torske of Kenesaw, Three sons Steve (Melody) Torske of Lincoln, NE, Darryl (Tonya) Torske of Rowlett,TX, and Mike Torske of Mandin, ND. Grandchildren Kayla and Ashley Torske of Lincoln, NE. Andrea Torske of Atlanta, GA, Allen Torske of Ft. Worth, TX, Autumn (Michael) Tockey of Pensacola, Fl, and KyAnn Torske of Hastings, NE. Great Grandchildren, Trinity Tockey, Talexander and Mazarae Hogan. One brother Louis (Pat) Torske of Heartwell, NE.



He was preceded in death by his parents.
