Eloise A. Jones

Former Hastings resident, Eloise A. Jones, 92, died, Friday, January 23, 2009 at the Kenesaw Haven Home, Kenesaw, NE. Services will be Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at 2 PM at the Brand-Wilson Chapel, Hastings, NE with the Rev. Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Hastings, NE. There will be no visitation. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Eloise was born April 11, 1916 to George and Laura (Bock) Kerr in Hastings, NE. She married Marvin W. Jones in 1938; he died November 19, 1997. She was a member of the First St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Hastings, NE. Eloise was a homemaker. She is survived by 3 daughters, Shirley Smith, and Sharon Dreher both of Hastings, NE and Edna Jungels of Phoenix, Arizona. 14 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin, and 1 brother. Memorials may be given to the Kenesaw Haven Home, Kenesaw, NE.
