Elaine R. Holl

Elaine R. Holl, 82, of Shelton died Monday, May 5, 2014, at the Good Samaritan Society in Wood River.



Memorial services will be at 10:30 A.M. Friday at the Apfel Funeral Home in Wood River. The Bryan D. Gies will officiate.



There will be no visitation, as per her wishes, cremation has taken place.



Memorials are suggested to St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Shelton.



Elaine Rae Holl was born March 9, 1932, at Shelton, NE to Clyde and Viola (Buck) Creason. She grew up and received her education in Shelton.



Elaine married John Arnie Holl on September 30, 1965, at Minden, NE.



Elaine loved flowers and gardening, and she also enjoyed sewing and embroidery.



She is survived by her husband, John Arnie Holl of Shelton, and one sister, Lorraine Platter of Aurora, CO, as well as several nieces and nephews.



She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
