Hastings resident, Delia A. Petrik, 88, died Friday, June 12, 2009 at Perkins Pavilion, Good Samaritan Society, Hastings-Village. Services will be Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mark(tm)s Episcopal Pro-Cathedral Church, Hastings, NE with The Very Rev. Robert N. Neske, Dean officiaitng. Burial will be in the Campbell Cemetery, Campbell, NE. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 16, 2009 from 9 AM to 9 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Delia was born June 30, 1920 to Alexander Paul and Emma M. (Chada) Charbonneau in Rosebud, South Dakota. She graduated from Todd County High School in Mission, SD in 1939, and graduated from St. Mary(tm)s Nursing School in Pierre, South Dakota in June of 1948. On August 8, 1953 she married Robert Petrik of Campbell, NE at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Mission, South Dakota. They lived in Hastings, NE. Robert passed away on October 12, 1997. She was a member of the St. Mark(tm)s Episcopal Pro-Cathedral Church, Hastings, NE, she was active as a Sunday School Teacher, a choir member, nursery and Altar and visiting guild. She is survived by 2 sons, David of Hastings, NE and Kenneth of Lincoln, NE. 1 sister, Opal Lazzarini of Kent, WA and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert, 2 sisters, and 4 brothers. Memorials may be given to the St. Mark(tm)s Episcopal Pro-Cathedral Church, Hastings, NE or the Morrison Cancer Center at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, NE.
