Harvard resident Darlene Mae Morehouse, 78 passed away Monday, August 6, 2012 at the Harvard Rest Haven, Harvard, NE. Services will be Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 11 am at the Harvard United Church of Christ, Harvard, NE, with the Rev. Stan Crawford officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Atkinson, NE. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 9 am to 9 pm with the family present from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, in Hastings, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Memorials may be given to the family. Darlene was born May 8, 1934 to Weaver and Ruth (Spence) Baush in Atkinson, NE. She graduated from the Atkinson High School. She lived in Hastings, NE where she retired from the Hastings Regional Center as a psych tech. Darlene enjoyed playing cards, reading and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Steve and Beth Saltz of Carson City, CA, Toni Saltz and Gary Avers of Harvard, NE, Lonnie and Ruth Saltz of Enders, NE, Kim and Larry Koppinger of Lowell, AR, Robbin House of Lincoln, NE, and Kennetha and Luke Conway of Hastings, NE, nine grandchildren, Tisha and Ray Hill of Fort Worth, TX, Jay Saltz of Carson City, CA, Josh Saltz and Kelsey Grindle of Omaha, NE, Amber and Jeremy Johnson of Harvard, NE, Heather and Oscar Correa of Omaha, NE and Janiece and Liberty Pittman of Hastings, NE and Kyle and Kaitlyn House of Lincoln, NE, and 6 great grandchildren, Kimberly, MaKayla, Brady, Trenton, Aubree and Patrick. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Ray Bausch, one sister Pauline Sylvester and one great grandchild, Crayton Johnson.
