Hastings resident, Clara F. Erickson, 75, passed away, Friday, November 6, 2009, at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, NE. Services will be Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 10 AM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, Hastings, NE with the Rev. Dr. Matt Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, NE. Visitation will be Monday, November 9, 2009 from 5 PM to 9 PM with the family present from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home and one hour prior to service time in the chapel. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Clara was born August 22, 1934 to Chester and Irene (Clark) Ingles in Carleton, NE. She graduated from the Carleton High School in 1952. She married Don Erickson on July 11, 1954 in Belleville, KS. She was a receptionist for the Hastings Medical Clinic, then she was a bookkeeper for the City National Bank and was the manager for central supply department at Good Samaritan Society all in Hastings, NE. She was a Hastings resident since 1956 moving here from Hebron, NE. She enjoyed crocheting and reading books. She is survived by her husband Don, of Hastings, NE, 1 son, Donald and wife Marice, of Highlands Ranch, CO, 4 grandchildren, Matthew of Castle Rock, CO, Julianne of Littleton, CO, Lauren of Mount Gravatt, Queensland, Australia, and Scott of Highlands Ranch, CO, 1 sister Ellen Saltzman of Hebron, NE and 1 brother, Victor Ingles and wife Mary of Carmichael, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 1 sister. Memorials may be given to Mary Lanning Cardio Pulmonary Services, Mary Lanning Hospital, Hastings, NE.
