Budd C. Edgington

Former Hastings resident, Budd C. Edgington, 68 passed away Monday, January 16, 2012 at his home in Kearney, NE. Memorial services will be Friday, January 27, 2012 at 10:30 AM at First St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Hastings, NE with Rev. Joel Remmers officiating. No visitation. Private family burial at a later date in the Diller Cemetery in Diller, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Memorials may be given to the family. Budd was born January 18, 1943 to Roy H. and Lura S. (Southwick) Edgington in Hastings, NE. He graduated from Hastings High School. He lived in Hastings, NE up till 2004, where he owned Edgington Realty and worked for various other realtors until retiring. He then moved to Grand Island, NE from 2004 to 2008, he then moved to Kearney, NE. He was a member of First St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Hastings, NE, and was a member of the R.E. Board of Realtors. He is survived by three daughters, Andi Nickel of Kearney, NE, Angi Guthrie and husband Allan of Elkhorn, NE, and Dawn Hooker of Wentzville, MO, and one son, Brad Edgington and wife Shannon of Pinetop, AZ, 10 grandchildren, Taylor, Macy, Kyan, Stevie, Jakob, Jaxstin, Cody, Cassie, Camie and Kaden. Eight step-grandchildren, two brothers, Wayne and wife Verna of Marshall, VA, and Jack and wife Louise of Lakewood, CO, one sister-in-law, Alice Edgington of Denver, CO, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Royal and a son-in-law Aaron Hooker.
