Vern 'Bud' Konzak

At Our Alberding-Wilson Location. Harvard resident, Vern I. Konzak, 79,of 304 East 9th Street, Harvard, died, Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, NE. Services will be, Thursday, April 5, 2007 at 2 PM at the Alberding-Wilson Chapel, Harvard, NE, with P.M.A. Deb Rippe officiating. Burial will be in the Harvard Cemetery, Harvard, NE. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 4, 2007 from 4 PM to 8 PM at the Alberding-Wilson Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Mr. Konzak was born, September 2, 1927 to John and Bertha (Rainey) Konzak in Harvard, NE. He attended Harvard High School. He married Burdette Valentine on December 11, 1949 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church near Glenvil, NE. He farmed in the Harvard Community until he retired. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Clay Center. He is survived by, his wife, Burdette, of Harvard, 1 son, Duane of Elsie, NE, 1 daughter, Adele Coats of Kenesaw, NE, 5 grandchildren, Staci Konzak, Kelly Konzak, Maggie Konzak, Shelly Auten, and Brian Coats, and 1 great grandson, Carter Auten. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters. Memorials may be given to the family.
