Rolla 'Bud' C. Achor

Hastings resident, Rolla C. Bud Achor, 86, passed away, Friday, August 21, 2009, at his home. Services will be Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at 2 PM at the Faith Community Tabernacle Church in Hastings, NE with the Rev. Edward MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Hastings, NE. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 25, 2009 from 9 AM to 9 PM with the family present from 7 PM to 9 PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Bud was born August 19, 1923 to William Henry and Cora A. (Getman) Achor in West Mineral, Kansas. He married Trini Hesselgesser on December 5, 1944. He lived in Hastings most of his life and worked at Hastings Equity Grain Bin for 25 years. He retired at 82 after working at Wal-Mart for 11 years. He was a member of the Faith Community Tabernacle Church in Hastings, NE He is survived by his wife Trini, of Hastings, NE. 2 daughters, Linda Ginn and husband Lynn, of Hansen, NE and Cheryl Ochsner and husband Randy of Hastings, NE and 1 son, Mikeal Achor of Hastings, NE. 17 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren, and 14 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons, 1 grandson, 3 sisters and 2 brothers and 1 son-in-law. Memorials may be given to the Faith Community Tabernacle Church in Hastings, NE.
