Richard 'Dick' G. Burr

Hastings resident, Richard "Dick" G. Burr, 69 of 690 N. Adams Central Rd. died, November 6, 2006. Memorial service will be Thursday, November 9, 2006 at 1:30 PM at the Grace United Methodist Church, Hastings, NE. Private family burial will be before the memorial service in the Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 8, 2006 from 5 PM to 9PM at the Brand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hastings, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Mr. Burr was born, November 27, 1936 to Richard G. and Leda (Hinrickus) Burr in Juniata, NE. He graduated from Kenesaw High School in 1954. After graduation he started Burr Land leveling & Farming. He married DeAnne Shafer on March 12, 1960. He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Hastings, NE. He is survived by his wife, DeAnne, 2 daughters, Lisa Wormstadt of Holstein, NE, and Stacey Marcisi, of Lincoln, NE. 3 sons, Kevin Burr of Louisville, NE, Todd Burr of Hastings, NE and Scott Burr of Juniata, NE. 2 brothers Dave & Dennis Burr of Juniata, NE and 2 sister Joan Bockstadter of Hastings, NE, and Linda Wadman of Juniata, NE. 10 grandchildren, Zachary, Chelsa, Megan, Emily, Cody, Cassidy, Kyler, Anthony, Joseph, and Isabella and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Memorials may be given to the family.
